On August 29, Kunshan ETDZ smoothly passed the acceptance of the united acceptance group formed by Ministry of Environmental Protection, Department of Commerce and Ministry of Science and Technology, and became a national ecological industrial demonstration park. Therefore, the zone added another national title.
　
The acceptance group paid an on-site visit and considered that on the guidance of scientific development and the aim of “scientific development, safety first, environment first, ecological development” Kunshan ETDZ national ecological industrial demonstration park got remarkable achievements in promoting regional economy in terms of high quality, high speed, high efficiency, low pollution and ecological development; accomplished periodical construction objectives and tasks of ecological industrial park; got remarkable achievements in the ecological construction of the park; came up to the requirement of “comprehensive ecological industrial park standards” with its complete files, full and accurate data, strong atmosphere. The acceptance group agreed that the zone passed the acceptance.　　
 
From now on, Kunshan ETDZ will further promote the cooperation combining production, teaching and research; improve the capability of independent innovation; optimize the ecological industrial net; apply low-carbon technology to promote green low-carbon building and improve reusing of recycled water; improve the reclamation and hazard-free treatment of solid wastes; show more effect of demonstration and guidance.
