After its three consecutive successes ever since 2005, the annual Dialogue between Chinese Private
Enterprises and the Fortune 500 is to be held for the fourth time in Wenzhou, China on December 8-9, 2008.
The 2008 Dialogue is co-sponsored by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of the
P.R.China (CIPA), China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI), and the People's
Government of Wenzhou. The event is also supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.China, Taiwan
Affairs Office of the State Council of the P.R.China, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, People’s
Government of Zhejiang Province, World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), and
International Finance Corporation (IFC).
2008 Dialogue between Chinese Private Enterprises and the Fortune 500 hereby invites executives of the
Fortune 500 companies and other multinationals, foreign embassies and diplomatic missions in China,
representatives from overseas investment promotion agencies and commercial chambers and associations,
Chinese private entrepreneurs, renowned scholars and government officials to share their perspectives in in-
depth discussions on:
·upgrading the conventional industries by innovation and cooperation;
·challenges and opportunities for Chinese enterprises in the context of the current global financial climate;
·cross-strait industrial cooperation and exchanges, and so on.
The event will serve as a platform for Chinese private enterprises and overseas multinationals pursuing
cooperation opportunities, for conventional industries exploring new competitiveness, and for capital and
project matchmaking.
