According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, from January to November 2007, foreign-invested enterprises newly approved for establishment reached total number of 34419, a decreased 7.02% as compared with that of the same period last year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD61.674b, a growth 13.66% as compared with that of the same period last year.

According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, in November 2007, foreign-invested enterprises newly approved for establishment reached total number of 3593, a decreased 9.06% as compared with that of the same period last year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD7.679b, a growth 35.04% as compared with that of the same period last year.

From January to November from the US, the number of newly established enterprises in China witnessed a decreased of 15.52% and actual use of foreign investment decreased by 8.25% respectively; And from Europe, the number of newly established enterprises in China witnessed a decreased of 7.93% and actual use of foreign investment decreased by 29.8% respectively.

From January to November this year, the top ten nations and regions with investment in China (as per the actual input of foreign capital) are as follows: Hong Kong (USD22.432b), Virgin Island (USD14.166b), South Korea (USD3.229b),Japan (USD2.99b),  Singapore (USD2.464b),the US(USD2.221b), Cayman Islands (USD2.154b), West Samoa (USD1.599b), Taiwan Province(USD1.434b) and Mauritius (USD1.046b), total of which accounted for 87.13% of total actual use of foreign investment in the country.
