June 25, the creative industrial park that built by Hangzhou ETDZ and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology opened. The opening of the park will not only further speed up the development of the zone’s design industry and the cooperation among the zone, the university, and the enterprises, but also will accelerate the adjustment of the zone’s industrial structure and the construction of the Science City of New Century University.
　　
The Creative Industrial Park covers an area of 60,000 square meters, and is another important achievement of the zone in the field of production and research cooperation. The park will fully use the talent, innovation and creation advantages in the areas of industrial product design and clothing design of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology to build it into a creative industrial Base that mainly focus on “industrial design, costume design, and art design", and will strive to be a Industry-Academia-Research demonstrative Base that combines design talent training, teaching and research, and innovation of teachers and students. At present, 30 enterprises such as Zhejiang Li Jialin tapestry art Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou MD Environmental Art Design Co., Ltd. have settled in the Park.

The Park has won RMB 1.7 million support from the zone. According to the leader of the zone, the Park will be built into a cultural and creative industry platform for Yangtze River Delta region, a congregation place for creative talent, a unique creative design enterprises incubator, a training Base for the innovative talent, a industrialization base for scientific and technological achievements, and a demonstrative base for achievements transferring. Finally, the Park will promote the development and congregation of creative industry in the zone.
