13 enterprises in Wuhan ETDZ invest 46 million yuan to carry out energy-saving & emission reduction technological transformation projects this year. The purpose of the project is to build "green factories."

In the first half year, Wuhan ETDZ energy consumption per unit industrial added value decreased by 7.7% percent. As forerunner of "Green Factory", Dongfeng Honda take methods like sewage zero emissions, centralizing logistics and recycling package to save about 800,000 yuan capitals.

Wuhan ETDZ has developed incentives mechanism to encourage enterprises in the zone making further improvement on energy-saving & emission reduction.
