Leading by CETZ director Yang yiwen, Tangdingyi (the party's deputy secretary of the Work Committee) and vice director Wujingsheng, nine delegates arrive in Shanghai to attend the event of "2008 Hunan-Shanghai investment & negotiations Week” (negotiation week for short) from June,16th to 19th ,2008. CETZ delegates and Co. like Xinnong electronics, Lear management, Jian Tang LCD, VIA, and other entrepreneurs attend the event

CETZ delegates attend the following main event:  Hunan province leader meeting with key entrepreneurs, Key project signing ceremony of Hunan Province Promotion fair, 2008 Changsha undertake outsourcing services and six main industries promotion fair etc.  On the event, CETZ delegates also have effective communication and exchanges with many domestic and foreign merchants. They warmly invite related entrepreneurs to come, visit and invest in CETZ. Many entrepreneurs expressed optimistic about CETZ’s development prospects. During the event period, the delegation also visit the Shanghai Bao steel group and the Shanghai Electric Group for an on-site inspection of the scrap steel recovery projects and filter project, then have talk with executives from these two Co. to looking for further cooperation opportunities.

CETZ has great results on this “negotiation week”. Seven projects have been signed, and total investment amount is 12.6 billion yuan. On the key projects signing ceremony held in the afternoon of June 18th,  “six-inch chips production” project, which has been signed between CETZ, U.S Maizuo development Co. and Shanghai Changliang Investment Co. Ltd., become a highlight. This project is the largest chipmaker projects in Hunan province. Total investment of the project is 100 million U.S. dollars, 0.35um chips output each month is 90,000 pieces, and the annual output is 2 billion yuan. Chip production belongs to low energy consumption and high output projects, and it is an important link in the integrated circuit industry. After the project is completed, it will lead the formation of industries like research and development design, foundries, mask, packaging, testing, sun energy battery panels, LED, equipment, materials, gas, mold, lead frame, special talent training and technical services etc in the zone. At the same time, it will promote the development of electronic and information industry in CETZ. CETZ delegates also have further talk with U.S Maizuo Co. and Shanghai Changliang Co. on the next manufacture project, which is 8-inch chips production project and the total investment is 1.2 billion U.S dollar. Substantive progress on this project has been achieved. During this event, Hunan governor Zhou Qiang and vice governor Ganlin, accompanied by CETZ director Yangyiwen, meet with the Maizuo chairman Henry and his party.

CETZ treat “negotiation Week" as a platform to exhibit its good investment environment and regional advantages, as well as promote its development achievements. CETZ has a great attracting investment show on “negotiation week”.
