Suzhou Industrial Park has paid great attention to the new trends of international industrial transfer, vigorously developed its service outsourcing industry, promoted its own industrial transformation and economic optimization, and consequently gained fast development. According to reports, the park has totally introduced 164 service outsourcing projects and 152 foreign-invested projects with the registered capital of RMB yuan 240 million and US $140 million respectively, mainly concentrating on the software and embedded software outsourcing, animation production outsourcing, hardware Outsourcing and IT training.

Suzhou Industrial Park has many advantages in developing service industry. Last year, the park's service outsourcing income was over RMB yuan 5 billion, increased by 67%; offshore outsourcing income was about US $ 220 million, increased by more than 80%; the output of the software industry was more than RMB yuan 10 billion. In the First quarter of this year, another 26 service outsourcing enterprises have been introduced, and their registered capital include RMB yuan 110 million of national fund and US $ 11.2 million of foreign investment; the output of service outsourcing reached RMB yuan 1.82 billion; the construction of service outsourcing college has been approved, and a number of new training projects have been started including Microsoft Technology Training Base, BPO Personnel Training Bases by Sino-India cooperation, etc.
