Zhongcunyicheng, Sales Department Manager of the Japan-China Economic Association, led Japanese economic industry province officials and relative Japanese companies to pay a visit to the development zone. Secretary of the party Li Yong of the Development Zone Administrative Committee, held a warm reception to the delegation in the Investment Service Center. Zhang Jiguang, vice general manager from the Taida Investment Holdings Limited also participated in the meeting.

Li Yong honored the visit of the delegation and expressed that, the development zone valued a lot of the energy saving and environment protection tasks as one of the zoology gardens in Tianjin. Since the Japanese government and enterprises had valuable experiences and advanced techniques in the environmental protection field, the Administrative Committee would cooperate with the government and companies from Japan in this field.
   
Zhang Jiguang introduced the situation of the energy saving and environment protection in the development zone and specifically talked about operations of the seawater desalination and waste incineration program in the development area.

Zhongcunyicheng promised that the Japanese government would cooperate with Chinese local government more positively in the field of energy saving and environment protection. He hoped that the visit would promote a substantial cooperation between the Administrative Committee and their delegation.

The delegation also visited the sewage treatment plant and the No.5 heat source plant, learning a lot about the sewage treatment and energy utilization in the development zone.

Relevant principals in bureaus including the Investment Promotion Bureau, Bereau of Environmental Protection, Public Affairs and Foreign Affairs, also participated in the meeting.
