The inauguration ceremony of Sany(Germany)Co., Ltd and press conference on investment Sany Investment Group made in Germany was held in Cologne Building in Changsha ETDZ in the morning of May 18th.  Sany Heavy Industry had entered an agreement with Investment and Development Bureau of Germany ,under which the company will set up Sany (Germany) Co., Ltd , its European headquarters in Cologne and invest 100 million euros to build a factory in Germany, which will become the third country, after India and the U.S., where Sany sets up a regional headquarters and builds projects.  The two parties had agreed on making joint efforts to promote the sale and services of Sany in Europe and build a new image for made in China. 

According to the investment plan , land purchase , design , planning, projects declaration and primary construction would be finished by the end of 2008 , the whole project will be put into operation in 2009 , by then the total investment will reach 100 million euros . 

Being a world top 50 machine manufacturing company and an icon of China's mechanical engineering industry, Sany now has 150 product lines that fall into 15 categories after 15 years' development.  The concrete pump, concrete pump truck and full hydraulic pressure vibroll have been taking the largest share in domestic market over the years, while its concrete pump delivering equipment together with similar products of Elephant and Schwing , two German brands, took the top three places in the world market .
