Hefei wants to attract big investment on building Micro-Electronic Industry Base on north-south part of ETDZ. The planed base will make IC industry projects as key projects. Many projects like LED Energy-Saving Management have signed the agreement 

According to the leader of Hefei Development and Renovation Bureau, Hefei has started to layout Micro-Electronic Base since year 2002. at Nanyan lake high-tech industry zone which located at the east-south part of EDTZ,  3700 acres has been marked out as the base. By the end of 2007, 20 billions have been invested in this area. And till now the pattern of IC production, IC design and test, micro-electronic parts production has been formed. The Leading Micro-Electronic Co. like semiconductor Co., Jiemin electron, USA Tairuida Co. have settled in this base.
