Weihai ETDZ holds "Sanjin hundred billion" ceremony with Weihai Sanjin Ship Industry Co., Ltd at Sky hotel on May, 12nd. Leader of Weihai government, head of Weihai ETDZ and chairman of Weihai Sanjin Ship Industry Co., Ltd attend the ceremony. The representatives from two sides sign the contract on the ceremony.

According to Wangpeiyan, Weihai government will take the advantage of coast line to build Weihai an national or even southeast Asia shipbuilding base. Surrounding this object, Weihai will set up three big shipbuilding bases and ten big dockyards. Zhaobu bay where Sanjin ship Industry Co. located is the head of these base and dockyard. According to the contract above, by the year 2010, shipbuilding capacity will reach 100 tons' target and the sales will reach 100 billion. After signing the contract, Weihai ETDA will carry out the promises, which is Enterprises create fortune and government construct the invest environment, and try their best to build environment for Sanjin Co. Weihai government will support the development of Sanjin too. Hopefully, Sanjin Co. will bring other dockyard develop together and build weihai a shipbuilding R&D base. In the future, Weihai ETDZ will attract more Co. which produces ship parts to invest in Weihai ETDZ.
