Recently, Abia state and Ogun state of Nigeria successively witnessed two-time kidnapping of persons from Chinese-funded enterprises. The Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) warns Chinese-funded enterprises and staff in Nigeria to raise awareness of safety, enhance safety precaution and ensure the life and property safety of enterprises and staff.
