It was known by the reporter on August 31 from the Citification and Accreditation Administration that to promote the elimination of backward production capacity, the above-mentioned Administration, having taken into consideration 2087 enterprises in 18 key industries whose backward production capacity shall be eliminated, requires all certification agencies should make corresponding treatment on the authentication certificates and identification marks of enterprises which have obtained certificates.
In accordance with the requirements of the Citification and Accreditation Administration, any form of certification services shall not be offered to the enterprises which fail to complete closedown and suspension of backward production capacity; certification agencies shall in accordance with actual situation properly simplify the procedures for certification to alleviate the burden of enterprises involved under the premise of guaranteeing the basic norms for certification while handling business on the re-application for certification filed by the enterprises which have a touch task to eliminate backward production capacity but complete it smoothly.
