Recently Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporation, a Fortune 500 has entered into an agreement with Guangdong Sanshui Industrial Zone Central Science & Technology Park, investing 1.5 billion yen to build a base in Sanshui to produce and sell engineering plastics and plastic alloy. The project covers an area of 23169.4 square meters, and will start construction in February 2007 and go into operation in February 2008. The annual output is expected to be 9000 tons.
