On April 8, the “Focus on the Rise of Central China” interviewing activity around six central provinces was completed successfully in Anhui. All the media from six provinces went back to their won provinces.

During Mar.19 to April 8, the “Focus on the Rise of Central China” interviewing team, consisted of mainstream media from Chinese Communist Party paper, broadcasting station, TV station or key news website of the six central provinces, traveled for over 10,000 km within approx 20 days all the way through Henan, Shanxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Anhui, having interviewed the governors, main leaders of related departments and experts. With the pen and camera, they displayed the major measures, latest achievements and brand new outlook of every aspect in the economic and social development within the “Rise of Central China” strategy of the six central provinces; reported from all dimensions of the industrial strength, history & current status and development plot of each province; discussed the conflict and issues such as the industrial layout, resources development, business introduction of each province. The six central provinces all revealed that they would center on the strategy of the rise of Central China, seize every opportunity, start from the actual, display strength and avoid weakness, and achieve cross development to realize resources sharing, strength and weakness complementing, cooperation in the competition and eventually win-win situation. Meanwhile, they would fully utilize the platform of the second Expo Central China, held on April 26 in Zhengzhou of Henan Province, to introduce situation and strength of each province, broaden communication, carry out project talks in the effort to demonstrate the beauty and business opportunities of each of central province to the public and let more people know about Central China, invest in Central China and share development opportunities in Central China.

This interviewing activity has further deepened mutual understanding and cooperation among six provinces and reflected the common aspiration of pursuing the rise of six central provinces. In the mean time, it has created a good atmosphere of public opinion for welcoming the opening of second Expo Central China.
