I. Theme
In order to facilitate the implementation of the state strategy of Rising Central China, the seminar discusses how to further improve the policies on processing trade, steer the gradient shift of processing trade to central and western regions and promote harmonious inter-regional development of processing trade.

II. Time, Venue, Attendees and Agenda Items

Attendees: 200 persons in total, including chiefs of local processing trade administrations, representatives of domestic FIEs, Taiwan, state-owned, private and overseas businesses.

III. Speakers
The seminar will be moderated and addressed by a DG of the Department of Electromechanical and Science and Technology Industries of MOFCOM.  Leaders from the General Administration of Customs and Jiangxi provincial government will deliver opening remarks.  Other distinguished speakers are from the Party Central Policy Study Unit, State Council Policy Study Office, State Administration of Taxation, Guangdong Foreign Trade and Economic Office, and key localities and businesses for processing trade of the six central provinces.
