Based on the industries, appreciation of the primary industry amounted to RMB2.8910t, up by3.7% year-on-year; the second industry appreciation RMB12.1381t, up by13.4%; appreciation of the tertiary industry RMB9.6328t, up by11.4% from the same period of last year. According to quarters, in the first quarter, GDP increased by11.1%; up by11.9% in the second quarter; up by11.5% in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, up by11.2%.

Regarding utilizing foreign capital, in 2007, projects of three industries utilizing foreign direct investment reached 37,871, and actually utilizing foreign capital amount totaled USD74.77b. Among them, the project number of the primary industry was 1048, and actually utilizing foreign capital amount stood at USD920m, accounting for 2.8% and 1.2% respectively; the project number of the second industry 20,087, and actually utilizing foreign capital amount USD42.85b, accounting for 53.0% and 57.3% respectively; the project number of the tertiary industry 16,735, and actually utilizing foreign capital amount USD30.99b, accounting for 44.29% and 41.45% respectively.
