DEVELOPMENT OF CHINA'S INDUSTRY
The year 2006 is different from others with the most emphasis on advertising regulation in the history of China's advertising industry. In July 19th 2006, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued a "Notice on Rectifying Medical Advisory and TV Shopping Programs on Radio and Television", while November 2006 saw co-release of "Notice on Banning Certain Types of Advertisements on Press" by State Administration of Press and Publication and State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
STATUS OF FOREIGN INVESTMENT
According to the statistics released by Ministry of Commerce, in 2006 there were 62 projects using foreign investment in advertising industry, up 40.91% over the same period of the previous year. The actually used foreign capital amount was 50 million USD, up 109.93% over the previous year.
COMMITMENTS TO THE WTO AND INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES
In the aspect of limitations on market access: if the services are provided in the form of cross-border supply, they shall be conducted only through advertising agents registered in China who have the right to provide foreign advertising services. If the services are provided in the form of consumption abroad, they shall also be conducted only through advertising agents registered in China who have the right to provide foreign advertising services.
DEVELOPMENT OF GLOBAL INDUSTRIES
As Russian Interfax reported, Russian federal information publication bureau reported that the Russian advertising market scale is 6.49 billion US dollar in 2006 with 29% annual growth, including 2.16 billion US dollars in TV advertising (36% annual growth), 0.35 billion US dollars in Radio advertising (+17%), 1.64 billion US dollars in News and Paper publication advertising (+18%),
