STATUS OF FOREIGN INVESTMENT |
| According to the statistics released by Ministry of Commerce, in 2006 there were 405 projects using foreign investment in pharmaceutical industry, down 11.96% under the same period of the previous year. The actually used foreign capital amount was 520 million USD, down 7.1% under the previous year. |

| In 2006, global pharmaceuticals market sale made new high record, rising 7.0% to 643 billion US dollars. It was said that in the data collection market of IMS, the pharmaceuticals sale totaled up to 607.9 billion US dollars with 6.5% year-on-year increase. |
