DEVELOPMENT OF CHINA'S INDUSTRY
Coal industry experienced overall integration in 2007 and about 10,000 small coal mines were planned to be closed. Among them 9075 mines with various kinds were actually closed in the first half of the year. The cumulative industrial output value of Chinese large scale coal enterprises was RMB916.448b in 2007, up by 28.06% year-on-year. The growth rate was 4.6% higher than that in 2006 and reached new height since the second half of 2007.
