| Over 400 Overseas Organizations to Attend the 11th CIFIT |

The 11th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is due to open on Sept 8th in Xiamen and more than 400 overseas organizations from 92 countries and regions will take part in the Fair, Yao Shenhong, Spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce announced at a press conference on Sept 6th in Xiamen.
Statistics show that the previous 10 CIFITs attracted nearly 100,000 visitors from 114 countries and regions and channeled nearly USD 70 billion into the Chinese market. A significant number of Chinese enterprises have made inroads into the international market via the CIFIT. Organizers stated that the CIFIT has evolved into the world¡¯s largest investment promotion event.
During the CIFIT, the 2nd China-Caribbean Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, the International Investment Forum 2007 and the Cross-Straits Economic Cooperation Development Forum will be held.
