According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, the market price index of edible agricultural products went up 0.5% over the previous week and that of the means of production rose by 0.9% also over the previous week (December 5-11).
In farm produce market: the average price of 30 kinds of vegetable went up 0.9% over the previous week, with the prices of cauliflower, green bean and pepper up 7.4%, 7% and 6.2% respectively. The average price of aquatic product increased 0.5%, with the prices of big hairtail, crucian and chub increased 1.8%, 1.4% and 1.4% respectively. The price of edible oil went up slightly, with those of rapeseed oil, soybean oil and peanut oil up 0.4%, 0.3% and 0.1% respectively. The prices of grain fool remained stable, with the prices of rice and flour the same as those of the previous week. The price of meet fluctuated, with the prices of pork and beef up 0.8% and 0.4% respectively, and those of mutton down 0.6%. The prices of poultry and eggs fell back slightly, with those of eggs, duck and chicken down 1.1%, 0.2% and 0.1% respectively.
As to the means of production market, affected by factors such as the support of the cost of material and the market storage under the normal level, the price of steel went up 2.8% over the previous week, with the prices of high seed wire rod, deformed steel bar, channel steel and common round steel up 3.2%, 3.2%, 2.9% and 2.7% respectively. The price of rubber went up 2.4%, with the prices of synthetic rubber and natural rubber went up 2.8% and 2.1% respectively. The prices of basic chemical raw materials increased 1.3%, with those of pure benzene, sodium carbonate, carbinol and caustic soda up 3.2%, 3.1%, 2.9% and 2.2% respectively, and that of sulfuric acid down 1.1%. The price of coal increased 0.6%, with the prices of blind coal, steam coal and coking coal up 0.9%, 0.6% and 0.6% respectively. The price of chemical fertilizer went up 0.2%, with that of urea up 0.4%, and those of KCL, DAP and NPK the same as the previous week. The price of non-ferrous metal went down 0.8%, with those of aluminum and lead down 4% and 0.4% respectively and those of nickel, copper, zinc and tin up 2.2%, 0.6%, 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
