73% Malaysia Foreign Investment Goes to China

As reported by Malaysia Sinchew Daily on April 23, the slow pace of global economy and turbulence of foreign finance and market has held action of Malaysia investors and also directed investment to low risk category. According the latest market survey, 60% investors prefer to invest in medium and low risk category and 40% still favor high risk product; overseas investment most possibly go to neighboring market. Among them, 91% is in Asia (excl. Japan), 73% in China, 64% in Singapore and 55% in HK. Moreover, a number of investors still eye on developed market. 38% of them intend to invest in Australia and New Zealand, and 46% consider about European market
